It is indeed, and I think it does play significant part in it. I’ve always been meowteosensitive ![]()
Yeah, Frieren manga is great!
Anyway, thank you, @Kernoel, @Enigmaxprincex and everyone else here for good wishes!
That really means a lot to me! ![]()

I see this as a win
I hope this is a good idea…
Hey I remember that guy from the TV Tropes wiki
I don’t get how you can be only reading one chapter of Frieren… I always read at least 10 or so, although they were translated lol
I’ve only watched the anime, but yeah, it was soo addicting
It’s so hard to read Frieren because there’s just so much magic-related vocabulary I don’t know X)

Reminds me of an article I’ve read a few years ago on Tadoku:
I do have to restrain myself from reading, although I must say, the meditative nature of most of Frieren chapters helps with it.
There are some books that keep leaving you on a cliffhanger, so that you have to keep binge-reading. Frieren is, luckily, not one of them, at least, most of the time so far. Which is good, because it works both ways – yes, I read only one chapter per day, but I have to read one chapter every day, even if I fail to do anything else Japanese related that day. Really helps me stay motivated when I’m low on energy ![]()
Getting close to 555!

sure you must have seen this one, right?
i’ve tried it in Japanese as well, there was a HUGE AMOUNT of text on the screen, even in English it can be intimidating, but in Japanese i don’t even know where to look at the screen xdd
there’s a bit of a trap to playing this game in Japanese too, that even in English there is a LOT of flavor text that doesn’t even contribute to the lore of the game, the game allows for you to skip those lines of text very quickly with them appearing fully on the screen within a second or something, and i’d do that in English, if you’re not to do that in Japanese, good luck, you’ll be stuck for literal hours without having made any progress at all xddd
Good luck on your FFXIV journey, I love the game, (I have something like 10 accounts on it by now xddd)
Is there any aspect of your life where you’re not chaotic awesome ? (yes that is your canon D&D alignment)
Enjoy ff14! For extra Japanese learning you can play on a Japanese server, although since you’re playing with a friend, it sounds like you’re already settled in on your server ![]()
