Thank you so much Wanikani!

Hi everyone,
After a few years I finally reached level 60 (I took my sweet time, with a loooong break at level 9) and I wanted to brag a little :face_with_tongue:
More seriously I wanted to thank Wanikani for creating this amazing learning tool. When I first started to learn japanese and struggled to learn the few kanji I had to know to pass JLPT level 4 (there were only 4 levels back then), I never would have thought I’d be able to learn more that 2000 some day and have so much fun doing so. 鰐蟹、ありがとうございました!
And to all my fellow japanese learners : 頑張って!
Now back to burning and revising

My main motivation to learn all those kanji was to be able to understand as much as possible when I travel to Japan. I’ve been there several times, the first few times I mostly knew hiragana and katakana, which was very useful but there was so much I couldn’t understand that I felt I was missing a lot of the experience. Then, as I started learning on Wanikani, every time I went there again I could understand more and more and it was absolutely awesome. So now I can’t wait for my next trip to read everything I can set my eyes on
In the meantime, I think I’ll practice reading japanese newspapers, and maybe some books.
