I took Japanese Level 1000 during my first year of university and finished with an A+. Now I’m in my second year, but I haven’t taken any Japanese courses this year. I still remember the basics and have a decent foundation, but I really want to start studying again since I plan to go to Tokyo for an exchange program next September.
I’ve been researching different textbooks: Genki, Minna no Nihongo, Marugoto, Irodori, and more, but there are so many options that I’m not sure which one is the best choice or where to restart. I also don’t know if it’s better to stick with one textbook only or combine different ones. I’m worried about being too messy or disorganized if I jump between materials.
If anyone has recommendations or advice on which textbook (or any other resources) would be best for my situation, I’d really appreciate it! Thank you so much in advance!
