Can anyone confirm that the meaning of 不正 has recently changed completely? It now means: Primary: Misconduct (Alternatives: Fraudulent, Rule-Breaking).
But I learned it four weeks ago as injustice (as on jisho.org) I think. Or am I slowly going crazy?

the last mentioned big update to 不正 was in 2021, but i definitely didn’t learn “misconduct” in 2023 
injustice might still be on the hidden allow list, or you can add it as a synonym

I typed “injustice” in my review today, and it got accepted, with a message mentioning how they recently changed the “visible” meanings.
While at first I felt that these two meanings were quite different, I realized that my reaction to WaniKani making such abrupt changes fits both meanings perfectly:
But I do still feel like those meanings are different. In English, I consider misconduct to be about breaking rules (just behaving badly in general), and injustice to be about the perceived “fairness” of an event or action.
I’ll also note that on jisho.org, “injustice” is the first meaning, and “misconduct” is nowhere in the list.
In general I think WaniKani splits way too many hairs over connotation in a way that leads learners to overthink and waste time on individual words. I’ve always had the most success in language learning when I learn words and concepts 90% of the way and then move on - pushing things beyond that is just a waste of time that could be used for other things.
My advice is to just install the double check script or an app with an undo button and stop worrying about these minor differences that won’t meaningfully hinder your understanding of native media.
