Reading: よつばと！②

Crawling along but a few pages per day is better than none. I’m reading each sentence out loud and that helps comprehension significantly. 55 days in a row of reading something in Japanese - on top of daily kanji and grammar study; all while doing lots of other difficult grown up stuff like having a job and keeping fit! Very impressive

- Finished コンビニ人間! My first completed novel of this year and the first in three years so I’m stoked! I’m glad it was this one because in terms of my ability amd where I am in life, this was probably the most appropriate book to read. I’m going to stick to manga for the rest of the month and read a new book next month, but I’m happy I finished one novel for this challenge.
Thanks! The first 4 volumes are free to access on Line Manga so not purchased but discovered this year so I won’t count them, especially since I purchased the 5th volume

かわずや２は読み終わった！
Finished かわずや２ this evening, which is my 4th manga completion of the month and my first ever completed manga series!!! I have some mixed feelings about it, but it served well enough for a beginner series and I got some laughs out of it and even a couple of fuzzy feelings. And I definitely learned from it—some good everyday vocab, practice reading handwritten and stylized fonts, and a touch of what I think is keigo.
Anyway, I have some challenging personal stuff going on this week, and I think studying is going to be hard but reading might be a good distraction. I’ll do my best but we’ll see how it goes.

I started playing 英雄伝説 閃の軌跡III to see what the game is about. It’s surprising seeing all these people from the first Trails of Cold Steel games back albeit now slightly older. Rean is now a teacher in school, not again a school setting. I prefered the setting of playing a police officer in the Crossbell games. Not that far in the game just reached the part, where we start the test.
