本好きの下剋上 第一巻 - 34 pages (12% → 21%)
古見さんはコミュ症です - エピソード１+２(字幕付き)
Pretty good amount of reading today - I’m thoroughly enjoying 本好き and the writing is beautiful (I’ve already cried several times and I’m only ~70 pages in which is a sign it’s a good book lol) so I’m planning to focus on that and then get the fifth 安達としまむら book done afterwards. I’m restraining myself from making another book order until I’ve at least finished the first 本好き book, which is proving to be difficult.. buying more books is very tempting 
Also rewatched the first couple episodes of 古見さんはコミュ症です while reading the jp subtitles. it’s my go-to comfort anime (I can relate to 古見 a lot what with having social anxiety myself) and it lifted my spirits as always.

I played more 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡 traveling around and slowly getting party members back. Game is more fun now there is a mix of fighting monsters and story progress.

Another manga complete! This one was also a struggle, pitting a staggering amount of lookups against my fatigue and a belligerent cat insistent on screaming at me unless I allowed her to lay on my chest directly in my face (not helpful for reading). Somehow I still managed to get the chapter completed! It didn’t feel like an end-of-volume victory, to be honest, but I’m glad to be able to move on. I’ve had some fun challenges with these past two volumes but I’d like to get more work in simpler things where I’m less dependent on looking up vocab.
Anyhow, 牧場物語Let’s!風のグランドバザール (Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar) supposedly arrives tomorrow, so I’ll likely be checking that out in the evening. I’ll tryyy to read some manga but we’ll see how much energy I have…
This is actually another series that was raved about at our IRL book club! Glad you’re enjoying it!

Started volume 5.
At the leisurely rhythm of 2-3 volumes a week, I should catch up pretty soon!
But also want to continue with 変な家… Need to keep going if I want to finish it by end of February

I played even more 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡. The part were we got Noel was cute. Lloyd is so dense he doesn’t realize all these girls fell in love with him.

When Seigi threatened his sperm donor with the knife, he told him he had thirty seconds, although he didn’t count continuously. He’d stop when sperm donor started talking, but instead of responding, he’d just continue where he left off. The guy fled when he reached twenty-one. But Seigi isn’t sure what he would have done had he actually reached zero. He may have fantasized about killing him as a kid, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’d actually be able to do it.
That’s part of why it’s only part of me that wants him to kill the guy: I’m not so sure Seigi would be able to do it. Maybe if it was in self-defense, or while defending someone else (on-scene, whom the person’s actively trying to harm), he’d be able to kill someone, but I doubt he’d engage them with the intent to kill, it would be the way the fight flowed, and then he’d feel awful about it afterward. Even if he knew the person was going to kill him or whomever he was defending, that wouldn’t make it sit right. It isn’t who he is.

Okay, I remember the first trial—especially the flower from it. But I didn’t remember that this is how you get the water dragon scale that lets you dive, and I’m not sure I remember anything else after the trial so far.
