Finished two chapters today, yay! And one of these chapters was especially thrilling, about deadly mushrooms and a buried corpse. Can’t wait to see the adaptation in the new season of the anime.

I started a few minutes before midnight, so it counts right? I finally got to start volume 23 of Fruits Basket and I stopped after the first chapter (132). I realized I already read that part before, but I don’t think I’ve finished the manga yet. It’s the longest series I’ve read so I’m excited to finish it.

Chapter 3 of Bloom Into You today.
I’m reading it on my own - but there was a book club a few years ago that had a decent amount of discussion in it for the first volume.
I think it’d be a really good candidate for the ABBC, other than the chapters being quite long (30-40ish pages).

I joined a day late but I did read some Japanese off a couple bottles of Ramune yesterday when we got sushi! I also read a chapter of チーズスートホーマ today too.
I’ll keep my notes from the manga on the book club threads, but here are a few notes from the bottles of ramune:
ラムネ - Ramune
ライチ - Lychee
メロン - Melon
ビー玉 - Marble
I also saw フィルム上 which I am guessing is referring to removing the film seal from the top of the bottle?
上手 also makes an appearance in the instructions, you need to be skilled to open these bottles lol

I took 43 minutes to read chapter 5 of Yotsubato. I hope to improve that time.
Since I’m very tired from work, I only read for 20 minutes of Mushoku Tensei. It’s still quite difficult, but I was able to read some sentences and recognize several kanji. The site I’m using to read light novels tracks progress based on the percentage of each page read, but since I didn’t finish a full page, my progress didn’t increase.

I forgot to post yesterday, but I read both days of the year so far. I’m hoping to add on many days this year!
JoJo Part 2 is fun. I’m increasingly appreciating Joseph and his wit when it comes to gab.
Part 7 is keeping up the intensity! I ran into the “Eat shit, asshole! Fall off your horse!” Scene. There’s a new character with a skull pattern for a beard and I’m looking forward to seeing what he does.
I also picked up Japanese Colors again. I’ve had it in my bathroom to make it easier to read. I also uninstalled youtube on my phone, so hopefully any long bathroom breaks turn into Japanese study breaks more consistently.

Please feel free to count time however you want! Personally, I like following the Japanese logic of 25:00, 26:00, and so on.

Sure, but the only difference besides the sprite work is the number of cases, so if you finish 1-4 of pw1, you’ve finished the GBA version
