Today I read volume 2 of お兄ちゃんはおしまい。After being so focused on novels for a while, this was definitely a nice change of pace to something easier for a bit.

Tired and unable to concentrate on one thing today, so I read a few pages of ふらいんぐうぃっち and a few pages of 焼いてるふたり.

I wasn’t expecting to get through the whole スピカ chapter in one go, but I kinda thought I’d be able to read more pages than I did. Well, I’m just gonna have to keep at it as best I can.
February 2
I talked to all the other students during the party. That was ridiculous so many people to talk to. Everyone is now afraid that another country may invade to it’s decided that we go to the capital to end the war. But before that there is always time to do some optional quests. In this case just four quests for killing some monsters. That was easy I finished them all and started talking to all students on the airship. Slowly preparing for the point of no return.

Hmm I missed a day somewhere. Anyway:
Finished Ms Elf! Was really crawling to the end there but thankfully the last extra story was just a relatively simple slice of life story about shopping.
This was a really tough read for my level, but at the same time, I learned a lot and I’m glad I got through it. I think concentrating on prose as my way forward is probably the right call as it seems like the sheer volume of stuff you end up reading + the instant lookups (for digital versions anyway) is much more beneficial for me right now.
I’ll probably continue this series in a few months, but I definitely need a break between then and now.
Continuing with Skip and Loafer, definitely on the harder side of my ‘easy reads’, helped by having watched the anime (and checking it sometimes when I get confused). Thankfully the story for me lightens up the more friend characters get introduced.

If you like the anime you’ll like the manga. I just like reading things I’ve already watched because it gives you a bit of a leg up.
I love Mitsumi’s VA in the anime (it’s Kumiko!) so that adds some major points
I read one N5 Watanoc article, one NHK News Web easy article, and one Tadoku level 2 story.

One month down, one more to go!
Started reading a new spanish book suitable for 10-12 yr olds even though I hadn’t finished the first one. I felt i needed to take it down a notch since I needed to do so many lookups on the other book with was YA novel.
Also started rereading Hinatachan! Not sure if I’m counting it here but i want to finally finish volume 1.

two chapters in 3月のライオン and i’m done! annnnnd now i have to wait for the next volume release 
on the plus side it’ll be nice to get some variety back in my manga reading, i started the series all the way back in october 
psycho-pass section was difficult but i got there, eventually. first time i’ve seen かしこまる as something other than かしこまりました

Some slow progress on the book. Haven’t had a lot of free time this week so it was hard to find some time to unwind and read. Also stopped doing WaniKani for a day, and some horrors unfolded upon me. Have to clean that up today since it’s still managable today, so no more reading this evening.
Can’t wait for the weekend honestly, why are there still so many days left
