Spend less time reading today, as the weather was glorious, but way too cold to sit outside and read :

I’ve decided to finish 風立ちぬ first, before moving on to 夜警 and かがみの孤城. It’s beautiful, but the grammar is harder than what I usually read, and I found I needed to stay focused on the style if I wanted to understand. No mix and matching !
Ahhh that makes sense - thank you so much for explaining <3 I just tested it and hurray, time to categorize stuff up and clean up bookmark mess (perhaps on the weekend tho, that will take me some time oof)
Yeah, Pixiv is kinda reminding me of ff . net in a way xD
Honestly, I am just super happy that there is a site like that with ff written in Japanese, so I don’t have to worry about what will I be reading~

One thing you don’t get in anime and manga adaptations you find more in prose is linguistic or authorial quirks like constantly describing how silky a girl’s hair is, her pouty lips or amethyst eyes or whatever. Mildly creepy? Sure, but it’s great content practice

Finished yesterday’s chapter and another one. Pretty relaxing time for Maomao for now.
Almost finished reading Chapter 10 of デスノート, but this one is taking me much longer than I expected and it’s midnight, so I’ll finish the rest tomorrow.

Read through chapter 十四 of チーズスイートホーム and this one was a pretty big jump in difficulty from what the book has been so far. I see in the original thread for these chapters that I wasn’t alone there. As always was able to get through it with the vocab list and other available resources.
Another week finished! I did miss last Thursday since something came up and I forgot to read.

Lol, yeah, it’s kinda crazy just how long it took to reach this point. And the anime is even worse for that, considering Haibara’s first appearance there isn’t until episode 129!
Luckily for me, I love long, epic stories, so a series with 106 volumes of manga/1149 anime episodes and still on-going is a dream come true for me! 
Read the second chapter in 名探偵コナン Volume 18. I was kind of planning on reading the third as well, but got interrupted. Oh well - tomorrow. 
I think I’m starting to get to the point where I can read these chapters with a lot fewer lookups per chapter, though, which I’m definitely happy about!

alright 3月のライオン 16 here we go! some kansai-ben to start but that’s okay, plus there was a chapter which was only about half text which is good cos i’m struggling to focus today. managed the end of the psycho-pass chapter/section/thingy i was on and that’s about it. yet another titus andronicus quote in there but i survived
