This will be my first time joining a WK Book club, and also the first time reading a book with a natively level in the 30’s! Even the L29 for my NativShark Book Club is higher than I’ve done.
The two book clubs are running in tandem, so hopefully I can handle it. That’s why I made a small book list. The goal is M-W = NS, Th - Sun = WK.

And on those days when I’m tired after work and coming home to my wonderful (but exhausting) two kids under 3 years old, that’s what the Easy book is for.

Technically my NS Book club started on Christmas, but I’ll be starting it late on purpose for the New Year. This should give me time to finish the books I’m currently reading, which are not on the above list.

I just want to read more in general! I’m still a beginner reader (N5-N4-ish level), so I can’t read much of what I really want to, but I’ll still try my best! Right now, I’m trying to finish up various graded readers, the easier stories on Satori Reader, and よつばと２(which I started and didn’t finish). I also want to finish the first volume of Pokémon Special, which I found was slightly above my level. We’ll see how it goes.

It’s been quite a while since I last participated in the read every day challenge but now you can count me in. I have been lurking around in the reading challenges ever since, though.

For this winter challenge, I’d like to make progress in the next route of the visual novel I’m reading. After recently finishing my first route, I took a small break, picked up the game again and am now making my way through the prologue. The only goal I want to set is to reach chapter 4 by the end of the challenge because I highly doubt that I can finish the route in two or three months given that I plan on doing many grammar lookups and will thus move at a rather slow pace.
Apart from the VN, I’m unsure if and what I would like to read alongside it since I don’t particularly like reading too many things at once. If I do end up choosing to read another book, I’ll update this home post accordingly.

I’ve decided to read all of One Piece this year. I started early, 2 volumes a week should get me to 114 at the end of the year, which should match up to publication schedule. These past 6 weeks, I’ve actually read up to 3 manga volumes a week, so I might add other titles
