Think I’m going to take a quick 帽子-break and read some Sailor Moon tomorrow. I’m excited to jump back in but I am not excited for the smaller page size lol.

RuneScape has quests that reference this. You can always look up what your needed items are beforehand through the wiki but you have limited inventory spaces so if you start a quest to collect some number of items and you already have those items sometimes the npc will notice that you already despite all odds have the items you need and they comment on how specifically improbable that is. Out of all the things you could have in your inventory you have x, y, and z.

Had a really nice Japanese study day today on my day off. Caught up on a bunch of reviews and lessons for both WK vocab and grammar, and got over 2 hours of reading in. 創る庭 is proving to be a nice challenge in terms of grammar. There’s certainly a lot of new vocab, but it’s the sentence structure that I find myself puzzling over quite a bit. It’s a good thing, and I’m feeling inspired to pick up my grammar studies again.
The story itself has been enjoyable, too. For a second I though it was going to go down an ecchi path, but it’s really quite wholesome so far. The comedic timing is impeccable and I found myself laughing out loud several times throughout. I guess I finished the first very long 70 page chapter, and it seems the next 3 are about 50 pages each. This one might take awhile…

Combining entries because I read but I didn’t write here with Fourth of July stuff. I read the prologue and chapter 1 of phantom thief red (怪盗レッド). Young teens who are cousins assigned to become phantom thieves because it’s the family business. Each chapter was very quick as this is a children’s novel. Despite having time off I haven’t been super motivated to sit and read a huge chunk in one day yet though I feel like this would be an easy book to rack up page numbers with. I saw a horror movie on the third and the last couple nights I’ve been up later because of spooky vibes and watching the YouTube videos about the movie and or lost media that’s associated with it. I’ll be fine but I hate getting into sleep debt. Easy habit to start but terrible to do a lot.

I finished the case of the blood filled evelator. It was pretty short and mosty predictable but still I loved the conclusion. Actually I prefer the shorter cases.There are still three more cases on card.

Daily reading done
Finished 夏! What a curious and unique story that was. That’s my third Satori series finished. Now I’m going to read 聞き耳ラジオ. I’m not sure whether to read it in easier mode or harder mode. What have I got to lose by doing harder mode? I guess l will try that and if it’s too hard I can always drop back to the other one. Anyway, good on me 
edit: Harder version of 聞き耳ラジオ is not that hard. Finished chapter 1! Also chapter 2!

Today: making progress on Chap. 41 of よつばと！Every day, I read until I’ve noted 10 new vocab items. In the chapters where adults speak to each other a lot, this racks up faster than usual; today there were 10 lookups in just six pages.

I wanted to play a bit more Animal Crossing this morning but I think I was too tired and got frustrated with some grammar look ups. Took a quick break to watch the World Cup (not THAT world cup) final 
with my family. Then this evening I switched to ふらいんぐうぃっち instead and went through 15 pages (but if I’m being honest it’s more like 10 if we discount the pages with no words 
). Being in the gentle world of Flying Witch, even for just 15 pages, made me feel better after the world cup result haha
