Got caught up in the DrDru story today and read five sections (4.15-4.19) I had to look up a few kanji today, because sometimes they don’t come back for a few days and by then I’ve forgotten what they mean 
I realize I could probably put them in anki or something, but that would probably make me less likely to read, and that’s what I’m using wanikani for, anyway. So for now, as long as I remember most of the kanji in what I’m reading, I’m going to leave it be.
I’m really enjoying the story!! I think 3-5 sections per day is a good number for me; it might not be a ton, but it is a number that I don’t feel stressed about doing, and the nature of the site slowly increasing in difficulty helps me feel like I’m making progress. I probably don’t need to come back here every day just to say ‘another few pages of DrDru’, but updating this thread really is immensely motivating, so I’m afraid I will.

I finished the first volume of Detective Conan! It was great!! 
I was worried, or I guess more accurately, preparing myself for it being difficult. But it ended up being easier than I was preparing for!! I also just simply realllly enjoyed it, which made it go so fast! 
I’m just gonna keep on going and start the second volume!

- Week’s reading of クラスで2番目. I’m really enjoying myself with this one because it’s a challenge but it’s not too much of a challenge (at least with lookups) and I can get the gist of most stuff and look up stuff more if I feel like it.
- Finished 長瀞さん1, will probably keep reading as it’s fairly easy and quick to get through. I have a handful more volumes then need to wait for another big sale.
Not sure where to next other than it’ll be a continuing series. Might keep going with 自称悪役令嬢 as it’s quite short and I stopped on a cliffhanger last time… it is a bit difficult but given as I have a before-bed easy read going maybe it won’t annoy me too much.

Finished ジャム屋さん episode 2 (20min) - no story on satori reader has got me hooked (yet) but i do enjoy reading something, trying to figure it out and having my understanding deepened by the grammar note. Sometimes im like ‘i don’t need this, i know what it says’. But then i read it out of curiosity and I often find some aspect of the grammar that i hadn’t previously fully considered.

Half of a chapter of レンタルおにいちゃん. Im intrigued to see where this book will go and as its only 4 volumes it seems pretty manageable.

One episode of ジャム屋さん, im cautiously enjoying this. It feels very slow paced and warm which is nice.

Also, searched things in 3月のライオン, of this vol, and end of last vol credits, in Perplexity. Goodness is not only searching in series, but also summarizing everything so far. Nonetheless I can’t control language output (actually possible, but partially). I have no problem reading monolingual summaries anyway (just want Kana reading on names).

Finished Nekopara Volume 0 
According to Steam, it took around 4,5 hours. Which is probably rather slow, since I think if you play normally it should take around an hour.
I thought it would be easier, but I think it’s still good learning experience. Especially for listening practice, which I pretty much completely neglected up until now.
I was quite taken aback when I got hit with this line There were quite a lot of 四字熟語 in this game. 阿鼻叫喚 was another fun one to learn.
