Hi all - I’m going to tentatively give this a go, even tho I’m just a baby Level 4… My expectations will have to be low, as I’ll be just trying to read anything I can that is comprehensible to me!
But I have some beginner readers on Kindle and my kiddo brought back a couple of JP language mangas from our recent trip. And I’m a voracious reader of katakana & hiragana found in ingredients lists on the side of food packets 
But I’m doing my Wanikani and Duolingo daily and anything outside of that I’ll count towards my progress if that’s ok

I won’t lie - it’s hard going 
- I’m basically looking up every other word in Shirabe Jisho, but I’m enjoying the bringing to life of something previously unknowable to me!
