Goals

I don’t have super specific goals this time round, I mostly want to be as consistent as I can with reading. However reading at least one novel or LN a month is achievable I think, so I’ll aim for that. I may update this section later on or it may just gather dust, who knows ぐふふ

This is my first time joining. I’m already an almost daily reader, so I think this shouldn’t be too hard for me to keep up with. I’ll mostly be reading a chapter of Pokemon Special ひとりぼっちの○○生活 everyday.

It’d be a shame if reading felt like a chore, but manga often has good dialogue that could help with your trip depending on what you read. Either way, I hope you have a great trip!

Unfortunately no :smiling_face_with_tear: I had to be very selective during my break time at work so I usually focused on コンビニ人間 when I was still reading it, or I would focus on manga when I needed a mental break.

The daily book felt too much like work because a lot of it was facts about Japanese literary figures, and if I were studying it would be helpful, but during my break, I just want to relax. It would also help if my daughter was already in elementary school so we could discuss it, but she’s just about to start 年中 so it’s still very early :sweat_smile:

The majority of my reading is likely to be Frieren (resuming from Vol.2 - Chapter 13), maybe some Witch Hat Atelier (no furigana so takes extra time and patience). And… playing Final Fantasy 8 in Japanese! Possibly followed by FF7.
