Ugh. Of course the “I’m in love too” was actually “I’m in love with Katsuta-san too” in the book. Ugh. You don’t need to make your MC explicitly straight just because the story ain’t gonna be queer anymore. Especially for a super-shallow girl there’s literally no reason for anyone to like. Ugh. Beating my head against the wall. Why does Miura Shion love pointless love polygons so much. Yeah, I really don’t think I will ever be reading anything of hers again.
Everything after that was good, though. I didn’t wanna put it down lol. Less than 50 pages left!

Wuii, I read a lot today too. Will most likely finish this book tomorrow. Also played Hollow Knight for 3h. Also have a lot of books I want to read, for example No. 6 and 四畳半神話大系.
Off-topic: Listening
Also decided to resume tracking listening hours. I fell of tracking in the middle of April. Spent a couple hours updating and filling in spreadsheet.
Haha, easy check mark. 50h could be a monthly goal instead. As long as Kanae keeps making content I’m interested in and I have free time to watch. At the expense of my reading time tho 
Listening is much easier than reading. I rarely doze off during streams, but it’s not uncommon for me if I’m reading in the evening, especially after work.
How many books could I finish in 50h of reading time?

Wasn’t out for so long, but think I got sunburnt mentally and physically. Sleep once again is not good, don’t really know why. So very tired, and thus not so much reading. Looking very unlikely to finish book tomorrow unless I magically wake up feeling well rested and have the worlds biggest ever seen burst of motivation.

Unfortunately yesterday I lost my reading streak. I normally have a book on my bed so that I don’t go to sleep without reading, but yesterday I got home late and laid down next to my cat. I was exhausted and the floor was surprisingly comfy. In a fit of ‘I’m an adult and can make my own rules,’ I grabbed a blanket and cushion and then settled in for the night. However this meant missing the book on my bed and I just happened to not read in the afternoon due to a whole list of chores I assigned myself for the day.
On the bright side, no, my body does not hurt and yes my floor was actually comfy.

I finished book which means I’m caught up on the Kusuriya series. Another good volume, 
5/5. I wonder how many books there’s going to be.

Found random romance manga for free on BookWalker (was actually in newsletter from Kobo, but it took forever to load on there, so BW instead). The male lead character looks cool 
The story is alright (reverse Rapunzel trope – the guy is stuck in a tower). The art is my style and the page quality on BW is good 
Full furigana, I think. I rarely read manga anymore, so I’m kinda surprised I ended up doing just one lookup in the first volume: 冥利.
Vol 1 is on sale until Wednesday if anyone wants to keep it instead of just reading the time-limited free version. Free ver:
Ended up reading volume 2 as well, it was not for free. There are two more volumes, I’ll probably read those as well. They’re also on sale.

Finished Chapter 41, Chapter 42, Chapter 43, Chapter 44, Chapter 45, Chapter 46 and Chapter 46.5 of Mirai Nikki 
Possibly my longest (and best) reading session so far. Unfortunately, I skipped reading yesterday, because, yet again, I had an unbearable headache. I was coming back from uni and the 2 hour drive home was an absolute nightmare. Luckily, today, on the contrary I think I set a new personal record for reading
Really enjoying the manga. There was even a moment when I almost cried. I could read more, but Chapter 46.5 kind of ended on a cliffhanger, and it felt like a good place to stop. If there will be no random headaches to ruin my day tomorrow, I will try to read a lot after work.

The same as it would be in English, really, I like having several books going at the same time.
But despite how many are on my shelf, it’s only really 3 or so novels reading at any time (within a day or two time period). The others are books I’ve started and will go back to eventually in a few weeks
I don’t feel like I get mixed up at all with the plots, usually I remember what happened before. The only thing I get mixed up on is how to read character’s names across lots of books, but I write down name readings in my notebook split up by each book usually for reference.
At least one book is usually a series I know very well (e.g. やさしさを忘れぬ) so those are a lot easier to follow, and give me more spare room in my head to focus on other books
Edit: I think I see what you meant by 1 page at a time now, but how I do my posts, if it’s just a page number, that’s where I left it before, not that I read that page. I just do it like that to keep track of previous progress easily. It’s only if there’s a range, that’s what I’ve read today. E.g. my top book has been on pg.139 for 2 weeks now, but I don’t read 1 page at a time.

i think even in english if i were reading multiple books, i would get confused
in japanese would be extra tricky, for sure, so i’m sticking to one series at a time
