19th may 
some more of 風, which is definitely getting more readable. some of the metaphors are still catching me off-guard tho. gave up on 島耕作 at the pg 111 mark cos i was bored and also i had too little context to really push on. obvious in retrospect but oh well. started a new manga instead, this one is a high school mystery (romance?) where the main girl has time-travelled back as a ghost and her and the main guy team up to try and prevent her death. we’ll see how this goes

Didn’t read Saturday night, but did last night, up to page 492, 22 pages read.
These scrolls are by the Osakan artist Nichosai (耳鳥斎) depicting demons acting out typical jobs of 18th Century Japan, but instead of using regular materials to make their crafts they are using humans. This art style is really kinda cute, epecially for the subject, these little tortured humans look way too happy being squeezed through a tube and turned into mochi cakes.

A few pages again. Changed the Emoji too, since some time has passed and it’s been summer for some time now, the snowflake didn’t really fit anymore.

Even if it’s a bit challenging sometimes due to handwritten words or unusual vocab I still like this a lot and really want to know how it will end.

- Plugging away at 四ツ子. I really enjoy this series … I’m not sure what about it makes it the more enjoyable children’s novel for me, but I quite like it even though it’s very basic. I guess it has just enough more complicated subject matter to it cos it touches on harsher themes.
- Finished SWAG3. Dramatic! Colour illustrations at the end are so nice. I will probably keep buying physicals of this though probably not the stupid expensive collector’s edition next time (which isn’t even different in book quality!!! I could have bought an artbook for this price!!!)

I finally looked into whether Nintendo will repair my Switch, and while they won’t repair it, they will replace it, for $100 plus tax and shipping. Definitely cheaper than the Switch 2, but all the new games will be only on the Switch 2… Ugh. I’m just keeping it for now; it still works just fine hooked up to the TV. If I’m buying a new electronic, I’d rather get a new laptop (which I’ve been putting off for forever bc it was so awful looking for this one. I’ve got no clue what any of the stuff is or means).
