Very unusual to have read so much during weekdays and so little on the weekend this week

Read another couple volumes of ハピネス.
It feels really empowering to be able to blitz through volumes at the same speed I would in my native language.
Especially because it’s not because it’s a graded reader or a very basic children’s book, it’s still completely native material. I may check out other works by the same author if they have other manga with a similarly simple but effective language and paneling…
5th october

tho admittedly i paused to do some googling in the middle of this bit cos she broke out the philosophy and that’s very much not in my wheelhouse…

Just a bit 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡. Still not finished saying hello to everyone.
I think I caught a cold I felt sick the whole day but I’m sure I will be full of power tomorrow.
Only read a few page today because on the road a lot, enough to catch up with ABBC Week 4 俺物語! ・ My Love Story! 🍰 (Absolute Beginner Book Club) - #24 by sanshoo

I start a different book 
It happens to be a current book club book (on its last week now tho). I discovered this book (EN ver) at local airport earlier this spring after a trip to Budapest. It’s fascinating to me how different the covers are depending on the language.

Forgot to post yesterday before bed
Finished ハピネス and will definitely check out other works by the author, they seem to be doing the exact vibe of unsettling horror manga I love. And the art is amazing to look at.
How did you like it ? I really love this manga, I am on volume 3

I already felt much better. Continued playing 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡 even more talking and did two quests. Glad that there was some fighting for a change of pace. A little bit more and I will be able to leave the city and do some quests outside the city. Looking forward to that.
