Today I read a few pages of manga - ルリドラゴン - and a little VN - Fruit of Grisaia. Reading is getting easier as I get closer to level 20 - for which I’m grateful!

I took a few days break from reading. Work has been busy and it’s stressful, so I end up doing other stuff than reading when I get home. And instead of reading at the last minute and go to sleep late, I’d rather skip reading and just go to sleep.
Today I read a bit :3 Hopefully I’ll read even more tomorrow. Weekends are good for reading for longer stretches of time.

- I’m at the halfway mark, so I’m not going to stop, but I think I can officially call this as the most difficult novel I’ve tried so far. I guess that’s the deal with trying for stuff with ? rating on Natively. It might also be my current reading conditions, which aren’t conducive to concentration right now, but between the Kansai-ben, the business Japanese, and just the loads of lookups I still need to do, I’m having a rough time. Definitely will have to swing back around and read it when I’m feeling more confident in a few months, like また同じ夢.
- I honestly don’t get people who just jumped into また夢 and stuff at this level as their first books… they must be built different =___=

Today’s reading was another chapter of 本好きの下剋上. Myne gets told off by Benno for asking Otto for help instead of Benno. There was some rather formal standoff-ish language between two characters, I’m curious if this stays the case going forward. I suspect not from what I’ve seen of the anime

Hello, everyone! Finally had much more free-time yesterday and today to get some stuff done! I’ve recently gotten ahead of my semester schedule, but I’m still having to keep up with everyday life and things more than just language learning. Even so, here we are!

Yesterday, right after finishing up ホリミヤ 1巻, I noticed ONE PIECE Vol.1-3 were free on Bookwalker and IMMEDIATELY added to cart and started reading for a little bit lolol. I haven’t gone through the beginning of ONE PIECE since I started it back in 2018, so it’s been so fun to just laugh at the early chapters of Luffy eating the ゴムゴムのみ and having Shanks laugh at him and call him dumb. So fun, I honestly like to read it out to myself sometimes and say the dialogue how I imagine they say it hehe, makes it extra funny to me. （￣︶￣）

My goals for this week are to finish ONE PIECE Vol. 1 and hopefully start something new! If you can’t tell, I really like to hop around from series to series lol. By next Friday, I should also be up to Chapter 5 in Quartet 1! I just finished Chapter 3 yesterday, so I’m hoping to continue the pace of 1 Chapter per week.

This week was not a good week 'cause I didn’t read for 6 out of 7 days.
- My current reading material is still the カードキャプターさくら ABBC and I was only able to read today, Sunday.
- Read pages 27-31
- I’ll look into other free books since I’m not planning to subscribe to Satori Reader yet.
That’s more than enough for the day. It’s better to get some rest and get well soonest!
