I’m excited to join another one of these! I didn’t think the last one I tried was making much of a difference in my daily reading habits, but then I immediately started slacking as soon as February ended, so I guess it was more motivating than I thought .

= Japanese
= Japanese and Spanish
This time, I’m going to try to read in Spanish every single day as well! I have a pretty easy YA book, Wonder (La lección de August) by R. J. Palacio, which I just checked out of the library. It’s written with a fair amount of first person present tense, with very everyday vocabulary and very short chapters, so it shouldn’t be too hard for me to read at least a few pages every day.
As far as Japanese goes, my main priority is translating the Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling recaps (and other post-match comments and press conferences and other stuff). This kept me so busy in March, I ended up falling pretty far behind with the 大海原と大海原 volume 3 book club .
So that’s my other goal! I would love to catch up more on the book club. I don’t think it’s possible for me to finish the book in time, but I can hopefully at least make up some ground.
I typically post about my reading in my study log and the pro wrestling thread and not here, though these challenge threads are far more popular than either of those, haha!
