Day XLI: ใ“ใฎ้Ÿณใจใพใ‚Œ๏ผ pg. 31-35. & ใŠใ‚ญใƒ„ใƒใฎใŠ็”ฃ

4 pages today!

And read todayโ€™s folktale which is from Yamaguchi prefecture. About a midwife delivering a baby that turns out to be a sneaky fox

ใ‚ณใ‚ฑใ‚ณใƒƒใ‚ณใƒผ๏ผ

~ New Words ~
ใŠ็”ฃๅฉ† (ใŠใ•ใ‚“ใฐ) - Midwife
้›ฃ็”ฃ (ใชใ‚“ใ–ใ‚“) - Difficult delivery (childbirth), and thereโ€™s an English word for this that I didnโ€™t know: Dystocia.
ๅฅณไธญ (ใ˜ใ‚‡ใกใ‚…ใ†) - Maid, female servant
ใŠ่†ณ (ใŠใœใ‚“) - Four-legged tray for food

Bonus Confusion Word: ๆญฆ่”ต, Iโ€™ve always known this as the ultimate Japanese swordsman of legend: Musashi. But in ใ“ใฎ้Ÿณ, the furigana it gives isใ€ŒใŸใ‘ใžใ†ใ€rather than ใ€Œใ‚€ใ•ใ—ใ€, so that left me stumped for a bit (then I remembered that theyโ€™re both valid readings, and that names generally donโ€™t care how a kanji is read).
