Random verb conjugation using WaniKani items

I was just thinking that it might be cool if various verb forms (past, participle, polite, etc.) were shown in place of the dictionary form when doing reviews in WaniKani…but of course that’s a bit out of scope for its kanji study mandate.

So maybe it would make more sense to do this separately, but it would be nice to be able to use my existing “library” of items from WaniKani, since that would mean that 1) I can reasonably expect to be able to actually read the kanji involved and 2) it would reinforce what I’m already learning/burning rather than just adding yet another new bundle to the fire.

Does such a thing already exist?

Some variations are kinda shown in the context sentences, beyond that, there’s enough conjugating drilling apps there.

I guess it’s not quite what you are asking but bunpro can use the WaniKani API to get your known vocab in and then you can see some of it “in action” / use it. That’s currently helping me anyway.

This is a script rather than WK built-in, but in case it’s of any interest to you: my custom SRS script has conjugation practice reviews that use your burned vocab. It’s still a WIP so there’s limited forms, but I’m working on adding more!

Ah, those are great options! Thank you both.

There’s also this hot mess

I had grand plans, and while it works, its clunky and slow. Leaves a lot to be desired. I’d like to revamp it someday…
