What would be the purpose of this? Reading old texts maybe?
I think you might be able to change the font into one that shows older kanji?
Especially considering that it would destroy the system of radicals and everything WK uses in its mnemonics
Reading old texts, and also just for fun I guess. 
I’m reading a book on 旧漢字 and made me wonder if there’s a way they could all be used in WK. But I’m not a programmer or anything so wondered if someone knew if that were even possible.
I think you might want to make a custom Anki deck instead. Seems to be a much easier solution. Maybe such a deck already exists!

I’m not saying it’s like something that should replace everything, but wondered if a script could potentially do that.

I don’t think it would be tough. A site like Kanjipedia has the kyuujitai for kanji listed on their entries, so you’d just have to match against something and check if it has a kyuujitai.
