Question on WaniKani's kanji reading orders

I was wondering when multiple readings of a Kanji are displayed on WaniKani, are they shown in order from most often seen or are they just in random order? To better explain the question I can give an example. So the Kun’yomi readings for Life (or 生) are い、なま、う、は、and き。So the question is would い be the most common Kun’yomi reading for Life or did WaniKani just happen to list that first in no particular order? Thanks for the help!

That list looks like “no particular order” to me.

Thanks. I’ve noticed myself tending to focus on memorizing the first associated reading listed when in reality I should be focusing on all the readings as I’ve noticed many of them come up in the vocabulary associated with the kanji!

Unfortunately you can’t even necessarily focus on the reading used in the mnemonic. Sometimes they seem to pick one simply because it was easier to make a mnemonic for, even if it’s the less common reading.

Ah dang, I assumed the mnemonic reading was the most dominant reading. :expressionless: welp, I’m almost done now anyway…
