Question about causative form

I was talking online to someone and I wrote the following (talking about kids).

可愛いけどしんどい事に成させると思う 笑

trying to say something along the lines of:

“I think they’re cute but they make me tired haha”

Pretty sure it was incorrect… can someone tell me what I did wrong?

First, the causative is 成らせる. But more importantly, I wouldn’t use the causative in this manner. It sounds very translated. Someone else will have to explain why in English.

How about:

可愛いけどしんどくなる。
可愛いけど疲れる。

Edit: How could I misspell 可愛い… twice? Fixed.

Yeah, I’d say something like しんどくなってくる
