I was talking online to someone and I wrote the following (talking about kids).
可愛いけどしんどい事に成させると思う 笑
trying to say something along the lines of:
“I think they’re cute but they make me tired haha”
Pretty sure it was incorrect… can someone tell me what I did wrong?
First, the causative is 成らせる. But more importantly, I wouldn’t use the causative in this manner. It sounds very translated. Someone else will have to explain why in English.
How about:
可愛いけどしんどくなる。
可愛いけど疲れる。
Edit: How could I misspell 可愛い… twice? Fixed.
