Most recent Japanese word you've learned?

It was the second suggestion on my IME. So…

Maybe my phone ime is just terrible. I doesnt know いんせい’s kanji either. Well, apart from 陰性 and 院生

Is it the Google IME?

it was the LG one. Switched over to the google one and it still doesnt know いんせい but it knows 弄り. You use google ime too?

Me too. :two_men_holding_hands:

I’m currently trying to read 月の影 影の海 (book 1 of the 十二国記 series) and came across:
異形 (いぎょう) - fantastic; grotesque; strange-looking; suspicious-looking

The book is aimed at age group 14+…feels bad that I barely understand a word lol…

The funny thing is I’ve never seen a Japanese person use it

Learned a bunch of new stuff from the example sentences in my most recent WK lesson for 耳 , みみ ear

From the 2nd example sentence:
パンの耳はわたしの大こうぶつです。
New words this taught me:
パンの耳 , パンのみみ Bread crust
大好物, だいこうぶつ favorite food

AND from the 3rd example sentence:
わたしは、左耳をミミと名付けた。右耳はよく聞こえないので、ママと名付けた。
New word learned:
名付ける, なづける to give a nickname to

Yayyyy Wankani! I really love this tool  :tomato:

つり目 - slant eyes; almond-shaped eyes; eyes that are turned up at the corners

タレ目 - drooping eyes

Learned them from the anime Blend S. Main character - Sakuranomiya Maika - seems to have particularly bad expression of the eyes (目つき) because of her つり目

Japanese will never cease to surprise me…

Do they use this?

Because I do

Yea, even though Romaji is by far most common on PCs, I think the 10 Key is the most common on phones.
