I learned this character because it was in the title of my favorite song “ Etsu to Utsu” (悦ト鬱) by Kiryu “己龍”. I even memorized how to write it with Taito “ and Biyan.

There are more entrances than just 入口 :durtle_durtverted_lvl1:

昇降口 - entrance (usually with shoe boxes, i.e. schools)
玄関先 - entrance (usually the front door of private homes, because you know… genkan)

I was browsing stories in Satori Reader, and many of them say 深呼吸しんこきゅう - deep breath. I wonder if that’s just a common word in short stories, like how so many Japanese pop songs say 夢ゆめ and 忘わすれる.
