Kun’yomi readings are native Japanese readings of the kanji while on’yomi readings re those derived from the Chinese.

You can read more about how these are used:

Nono, I mean it’s on’yomi reading, not kun’yomi

w/e I’m a bit retarded=))
I didn’t tell, which one I’m talking about

用 vocab - updated reading explanation.

It uses on’yomi reading of the kanji, which is よう. Not the kun’yomi, which is もち
I think there is a mistake. Am I wrong?

Ah, I see - yeah, makes more sense with context

Yeah, Jisho confirms kun as もち/いる so I think you’re right, description is wrong there @mods

Overall nice! Big thanks for the update!

Out of curiosity, did anyone really write “Takashima Island” to this?

I did a dictionary search and the only thing I found was 高島田「たかしまだ」, which is a traditional women’s hairstyle and 高島「たかしま」 which is the actual Takashima island  .

You’re right! Thanks for catching that typo. We’ve corrected it to “on’yomi” now.
