Hi,
(I have not seen a thread on this, so please let me know if there is one already).
My idea for this thread was for people to take snips of the manga they are having trouble with, and people can help them to understand it.
Hi,

Mine is page 99 of Dragonball - volume 1 - Oolong has turned into a bat and is flying off.
Is my translation correct? -
“Don’t sit around idly, catch him!”
“If we don’t find out information on Oolong’s house, those kidnapped girls…”(we won’t be able to find them)
Looks good!
Thanks!..I was unsure because of the trailing off part at the end.
I can’t for the life me figure out the kanji between 恋人 and 集中… Is she saying something like “As I said, this, the scarf. If it’s sticking out the back of your collar in a triangle, you’re focused on your lover”?
Ah, I just read this last night!! It took me a while to find the kanji too, I had to draw it in Jisho to figure it out. This is the word she’s using.
I made a vocab sheet for this volume which you’re free to check out if it would be helpful.
Oh! I was trying to search it with the furigana, but I misread it as ば. That makes so much more sense now, though.
Whoa, that’s super helpful. Thanks for sharing!
募集 / 募集中
~中 is a pretty common grammar, and it’s a lone Kanji (and there is also ~中). You’ll have to look out for that.
Yeah, I totally misread that part. Ah, well, practice, practice.
Thanks for the link! I hadn’t come across that website before and their example sentences are really helpful.
