1月4日 - watched the ‘2-hr special’ (more like an hour and a half) episode 219 of 名探偵コナン. Only really understood maybe 50% at best. Definitely a harder episode…
I also watched the newest episode that came out today (#1148) - understood maybe 60% or so? But since it was on Crunchyroll, I let myself watch it twice - first without subtitles, and then a second time with subtitles on. Eventually I’ll stop letting myself (or needing/wanting to!) do that…

Listened to Comprehensible Input Beginner Japanese Ep 35 and 36, in which I learned about 雛人形 and 坂本龍馬! A total of 18 minutes.
Plus maybe half an hour of playing “It Takes Two” in Japanese. My partner and I have been playing it for the last year and we started in Japanese. We’re nearing the end now finally!
Did you play it as well? I just love that game in general whether I’m playing it or watching someone play. I hope the other game comes out soon, Haunted Chocolatier.
I really like the variety of materials on Dreaming Spanish! How many hours have you clocked in on there if you don’t mind me asking? I’m thinking of whether or not to renew my subscription.

Part of なつめさんち’s 2024 gaming recap video. It’s four hours long! But I’ve been enjoying their videos so much I think I’ll end up watching it all haha. Little by little
Yes, I have!! It’s been a while since I’ve played it, but the DS series has made me want to go back to my old farm!! Haha
It’s so cozy, but also watching them play it sometimes I just want to reach through the screen and give them tips like “PABLO!!! Leave some of your tools at home!! Don’t waste star items on jam!!” 
Ah, I just hit 600 hours before the new year!! I had been watching 100 minutes a day, which is quite a bit. But I’ve stepped back now a little to be able to focus on Japanese more. Since I used/use it for so many minutes every day the subscription is worth it to me!! But I know its value depends on the person. Like you said, though, one of the biggest advantages is just the variety of content!! And the more they keep adding to it everyday, the more choices there are that personally interest you!

OH MY GOODNESS! LOOK AT YOUUUU! WELL DONE!!! When I was consistent I was only doing 30 minutes a day but that was only for a couple of months. My god what an inspiration! This was also what I was secretly hoping for when I asked. Hahaha. My competitive side makes me want to prove to myself that I can do the same!

Today I was able to listen to
The first broadcast of Babymetal’s new radio show: メタラジ!! Someone told me they had started a radio program, and it was pretty short! I was able to understand much more than I originally expected, so I was happy! I think it will be easy to keep up with them once a week, so I’m looking forward to listening more! And the guests they’re going to have for the next three shows is 新しい学校のリーダーズ!

I think 30 min a day is a very reasonable and great goal, if that’s what you want to get back to!! I believe Pablo has also said that he thinks 30 minutes a day is a good amount, and enough to be able to see your progress. I believe in you, yOU CAN DO ITT!!
And I love how easy it is on dreaming spanish that it automatically tracks your time and everything, it made it a lot easier for me to stay consistent and push myself!! And if you simply just watch and understand the videos, the method really does work!!
