Plans and Goals
Right now my goal for this challenge will be mostly just passive listening, since I am putting work into getting through the Genki textbooks and I don’t want to overwhelm myself. So I’ll watch anime with subtitles on and listen for anything that sticks out that I might recognize. Maybe I’ll put on some Japanese music in the background on my busy days.
For the days where I have some extra time, I’ll try to transcribe some N5 level podcasts and translate into English. I finished Genki 1, so this should be within reach. I’ll try to transcribe at least one podcast episode per week to start with.
