Dealing with some major jet lag so I just listened to a bunch of Japanese ASMR videos to try falling asleep. It kind of failed to help me sleep because I was trying so hard to pay attention to the talking so I’m counting it as my daily listening Probably about an hour and a half’s worth of videos.
I’m really happy I did a Jpod101 lesson everyday! I’m still not up to the level of japanese where I was before my long hiatus, but I still am learning a few new vocab and am refreshing my memory with every lesson. I have grown to like the new host, which is good because sometimes I hate change The lessons are longer than the first season, but I find that better.
See you next time!
Edit: I forgot to include the episodes of the boyfriend I watched!
Today I finished the second half of Girls Und Panzer Der Film. It was actually quite hard, even compared to the series or the first half of the movie. You’ve got Nonna and Clara speaking Russian, the otaku teams and Katyusha and Darjeeling and Maho quoting historical figures and sayings, everyone’s panicked and yelling over each other and cannon fire since the second half is basically one long tank battle.
So much for wanting to make regular updates. I’ve been terrible at tracking but at least I’ve been very good at listening to something every day. Mostly podcasts (and mostly Teppei), and the ガリレオ series (I’m up to episode 9).
I was curious as to how much I would understand, and to my surprise, (and naturally given I’m practising everyday), it was really enjoyable to see the progress
That’s a great mindset to have I’m trying to teach myself that during this challenge - the littlest bit is fine as long as we’re making some effort every day!
