I just got level 7

ive been kind of learning japanese in my downtime out of sheer boredom

looking to discover new resources or new ways to make it interesting

ive tried some of the reading sites but i don’t feel like i know enough to read even basic sites yet…

been having alot of confusion at verb conjugation, wanikani shows some of the basic verb forms but the other tenses still seem daunting, any good tools or ways to understand those?

figured id make a post on the community and see if there is anything interesting to get into on here. never posted before, but i just got level 7 and i guess patting myself on the back seemed pretty hollow

For grammar and conjugations, many people recommend BunPro.jp - it’s an SRS system similar to WaniKani that runs you through grammar points and lets you practice them against multiple example sentences. If you’ve done some learning of them and want some variable difficulty questions, you can try https://katsu.arthurhoek.nl which is a conjugation practice tool

Level 21 before 2021!

Yay! Congrats to you too! Yes! I’m sending all of you to your death Hopefully we’ll all meet in Paradise and Reality later in 2021… I hope to start a thread towards the end of the year called “Level 60 in 2021”. It’s so much more fun to work together towards a goal than to do it on your own!

You don’t have to make it 21 before 2021, but it is a great community of people around your level.

each level is being torn from my soul, so no worries about congratulating yourself on gaining a level!

I also want to study more grammar but I find that between working and doing WK leave’s little time… the genki textbook on my desk is gathering dust.

I plan on pausing at level 10 and catching up on all the leeches and starting grammar there
