Level 60 celebrations

Hi all

Completed level 60 guru’ed all kanji in wanikani. It took 515 days.

I started wanikani on 1 March 2025 and have spent a lot of time over the last 17 months doing exercises, practising writing and recording wanikani kanji and vocabulary. On and off I have also looker at grammar - Genki, Bunpro and Tobira. I also read NHK Easy each day. I don’t recall all the kanjir or vocab. I’ve really enjoyed completing the wanikani as it gives such a sound foudation to understadning written Japanese. Still a lot to learn…

Thanks for your note. I’ll probably keep practicing, reading and doing a bit more grammar. I’ve looked at bunpro N5 and N4, so will continue on to N3. Would like to return to Japan sometime soon and put what I have learnt to some real experiences.
