I maxed out at 40-ish lesson on several days 
But on 2nd part Kanji the lessons decreases and I still can get finished on time (7d 13h) ~ I think it’s because I went to sleep after leveled up LOL

After taking 2/3 months off of studying I’m finally back after resetting back to level 1. Sucks that life gets in the way sometimes but now I’m back and more ready than ever, I bet the first few levels are going to be extremely tedious ahahah. Nice to see this thread is still going strong too!!

I don’t know if it’s a stuffed-so-deep-down-I-can’t-find-it Nic Cage fetish or what, but I have never once - not ONE SINGLE TIME - gotten あらかじめ wrong. What the hell.

I have the opposite issue.
Had to create a customised mnemonics with あららぎ and はちくじ mispronuncing on purpose.

Having been away for a couple of months after losing motivation due to some personal stuff and the JLPT being cancelled in my country this year, I’m glad to see that this thread is still going strong! Sad to say that it’s no longer in the cards for me to reach level 21 this year due to me deciding to reset all my tools / decks a few weeks ago to find a way to get motivated again. Best of luck to everyone still going strong, you all got this!!!

You still have time depending on your rhythm. Even reaching 10+ would still be a feast.

I’m just planning on seeing how far I’ll get this year, but seeing as there are only 20 weeks left, I’ll probably only get to around level 16 at my previous pace, but we’ll have to see, won’t we?

I just leveled up to 15!! I am sure that it will take me less days than 14 (22 days) as I have my last university presentation on Tuesday and afterwards I have a lot of time (after work at least) to study Japanese

Japanese the Manga Way is an absolutely WONDERFUL textbook that barely even feels like a textbook because it’s so fun and immediately gratifying due to the examples from REAL manga. such an underrated resource!
