Finally on level 11. It took longer than I wanted from my low accuracy with the last few kanji that took forever to show up. I got a re-order script now so I can get the radicals and kanji out of the way early on. Still going to do vocab throughout because it helps my memory, I just need the kanji unlocked sooner because of my accuracy.

Well apparently the actual canceled notification isn’t showing up on a google image search anymore, but I can still find this one! (was trying to make a joke from Plague Inc…)
Also, man its been a bad week for getting things up an going. I have over 100 new lessons since leveling up to 11 that I still haven’t done. Maybe I’ll knock another batch out tonight.

Level 10 might have taken longer than you wanted but if you think about it this way, you were 63 times faster than completing level 9! Hearty congratulations

Two wins for me today. Firstly, I reached level 16! 
Secondly, the thing I’m probably more chuffed about, today’s the 100th day in a row I’m been using WaniKani.
I tend to have a bad habit of being overambitious when starting new projects. I usually spend a lot of time planning at the beginning and end up not following through. So I’m super happy that I’ve been able to stick to a routine of studying Japanese. Here’s to another 100 more!

Personally, I only ever heard/read about the Tale of Genji. I don’t have a personal connection to it and I’m sure it won’t be hard to imagine that many of us here are on the same boat. I’m still partial to the Harry Potter suggestion. We could also take Pokemon’s Kanto and make our way towards the league

Mine isn’t much to look at yet because I just restarted… the fastest you can level up is 7 days per level, more reasonable is 10 days.

I usually try to do them all on the afternoon that they unlock, but its been a pretty bad last week and half in my personal life and my concentration has been absolute garbage. I’ve been messing stuff up like crazy, so have been keeping my new lessons to a minimum. I think i did 20 one day as the highest in the last week, which I know is low.

If we do decide to go with a pokemon theme, I came up with a backstory for the theme. (I can try to do the same for our final theme if it is not Pokemon based.)

This must be the legendary creature that can unlock the mysteries of Durtleverse. You find yourself with a burning passion to find the creature and unravel the mysteries. Lately that cocky brat Koichi has been bragging about his connection with the Durtle God. I will show him who’s the real deal.

Definitely deserve to relax a little. At level 11 (I did the math) you shouldn’t need to do more than 20 new vocab lessons a day to finish them all before new vocab lessons are released. Spacing out the new vocab items can help a lot with the memory problems.

Oops… I leveled up! 9 now. I wasn’t prepared. lol
So many lessons, nooooo…! Well, this last level went a little faster for me since I went into it strong, and this next one may be slower since I’m going into it overloaded. Guess that’s how the pendulum swings.
P.S. I love Pokemon, so count me in on that particular theme!

@KyokaJiro I love your Pokemon story, and I would love to see a Harry Potter story too!
