Keep making the same mistake due to muscle memory

So I left Wanikani for a while. I came back to level 25 and decided to reset it back to 1. In my off-Wanikani learning I got into a habit of hitting ‘enter’ after some kana to avoid the kanji to be used for some words. My muscle memory is set in stone for some words. しち(七) being one of them.

I just finished level one, they’re all closed out except for 七 which has the 2 little bubbles filled in. Is there a way to tell the system I know this and to just fill it in? Or am I destined to be frustrated every time I do it? (actual mistakes I’m cool with, but my quick pinky enter is gonna be saddening.)

I already sent a chat message, but they’re not in because it’s the weekend, the wonderful people of Wanikani need their rest after all. I was just wondering I could do something or not.

Hi and welcome back!
You could use this [Userscript]: Double-Check (Version 2.x) to help you out. It’s very helpful for everyone with a quick enter-finger and general typos.

Use an undo script and fix it that way. I think there are also scripts that let you auto-pass items your dinner want to study.

You can also use anki-mode for meanings to avoid these issues.

Thank you! I completely forgot that userscripts were an option! Thanks for the reminder!
