Just a tip from something I have realized

This is something that has helped me so I apologize if others are already aware of it as I’m still pretty new to wanikani.

I noticed that for me, if I add too many new lessons, I just end up learning nothing. It’s best to do it like so:

  1. Do all of the radicals
  2. Unlock the kanji
  3. Wait to do vocab either until the end or wait to do a few because sometimes it forces you to do vocab before kanij.

As for #3, there are a few ways to reorder the lessons, so that you can learn the kanji once they’re available and start with the vocabulary later.
I know there is some user script for that, but I just use the lesson picker (it seems to be still in beta and this link will only work if you have pending lessons):
