今日買い物をした。仕事にボードゲームを買った、それから日本の料理の店に行った、カツオぼしやお茶やのりを買った。電車に走ったけど買い物が多すぎて乗り遅れた。

My favorite daimyo from the Warring States period is Uesugi Kenshin. Uesugi was the daimyo of the Uesugi clan/family from 1552 to 1578. Also, he was born in the year of the dragon and so called the “dragon of Echigo”.

今日はお年寄りの趣味となくなる危険記の関係事を読んだ。記事は趣味が多ければ多いほど、長く生きる可能性が高いと言った。
Today I read an article about the relationship between the hobbies of the elderly and the risk of dying. The article said that the more hobbies you have, the more likely you are to live longer.
(I’m not really sure if I’m using -ba form correctly here - I saw it in the article and am kind of trying to dissect it here!)

今私の里は近いから、ちょっと不安です。去年は家に帰らなくてしまっただってお母さんが嫌い。でも、お父さんが悪い人ではないな。
