My friend is staying in Japan for a few months to work/travel. (His work does not require Japanese.)
He has a short term interest in learning Japanese, in the sense that he has no plans to visit Japan again in the near future.
Can anyone suggest some basic resources for such a situation? Ideally, romaji friendly and non-video based.
This anki deck comes close, but the shortcoming is that only has 20 cards.
