I used the guide and chose the first bad ending in Sara’s route. That was… I don’t even know what to say. Have any of you done that ending? Or did you play towards the “good” ending?

I believe I did go for it. That’s the only bad ending I went for in Sara’s route, decided to not mess with her afterwards, way too brutal:|

My current point on flow chart is starting to be visible if I scroll all the way to the end now 
If I compare to other routes, that means only 11 scenes left! (I have read 690k characters so far including twice the prologue)
So close! You have read the prologue twice so you can subtract about 100k, right? So your “real” count now is around 600k?
Do you want to read fast now and get to the end, or do you want to take it slow and really enjoy the last few days?

I would like to be done fast now, not reading anything else expect Satori Reader until I finish ISLAND. I think if I can read 20k everyday I will be done this week! (without counting the other routes, those I can do slowly, maybe after a small break, for the pleasure of coming back)

I hope you’ll tell us what you think when you’re done! I want to take my time and enjoy this, but I also want to read fast and find out what happens towards the end. For now I’ll live vicariously through you!

Chapter title: 告げなければならない
In retrospect, stopping in the middle of a route probably wasn’t the best idea. It took me a minute to remember everything that was happening here.
I think this route has been better than Karen’s so far. Feels like we are learning a lot more about the history of the island. The stuff about the Garandou family executing people wasn’t what I was expecting.
I did think the scene where Sara and Karen were fighting and then Sara asked Setsuna if he was on her side was kind of weird. It felt kind of random how fast there was a sudden conflict between them.
Not too much more to say but looking forward to seeing if they end up solving who actually caused that fire years ago.

6000 words today, and another bad ending in Sara’s story. I want to play the game to 100% completion, and it feels good to complete everything as I go. Tomorrow I’ll go back and continue towards the “good” ending.
Today’s bad ending was NOT violent. Which was good. The other bad ending was… BAD!

Total character count of the VN
I have finished the line in my flowchart! I’m now at 779k, 110k were the repeat of the prologue, so 669k. JPDB said 664k so I have passed that. Maybe we are not counting the same way! I still have a lot of content left, according to the menu there are a lot of CGs and endings that I am missing. I have no idea of how much is left in time of reading / characters at this point 
I think I will see if I can find the rest blindly, otherwise I’ll check out the guide AzusaChan as posted or some other source

I finished Sara’s route now.
Thoughts on Sara's route
I still think this one is better than Karen’s was but I didn’t really like the direction it ended up going in. I didn’t think there was any type of romantic chemistry with Sara so I didn’t like how they were trying to push that at the end.
I also didn’t like the first epilogue with Maria where she was explaining everything that happened after the fire with Setsuna just to say sike at the end and laugh at us for believing her. Its probably because I’m not too into this type of humor but it seems like the vn has trouble staying serious for more than a few lines without turning it into a joke at some point.
Outside of that, I did enjoy the mystery aspects although in the end, it feels like there are more questions than answers at this point.
I will try to start on Rinne’s route soon. Seeing Akashelia’s character count and knowing I’m not quite at the half way point is a bit disheartening. I do want to know how the mystery unfolds but there are a lot of parts in the game I don’t quite vibe with. I’ll try to keep my motivation up

I thought the character count was very roughly 150.000 for each of the prologer, Karen, Sara and Rinne? I’m halfway in Sara’s route and I must be about halfway done with the game!

That would be only 600.000 and I’m already at more than the 660.000 announced by JPDB!

I managed to read a bit this weekend, so now I’m beyond the part of Route A where there’s a really long scene after many decisions (probably scene 12).

Sara’s route, somewhere between save slot 12 and 13. I’m playing for flowchart completion so I play all the bad endings as I go. For each bad ending I feel like I learn more, and for each bad ending I feel more and more confused. Honestly I can’t wait to finish Sara’s route and start Rinne’s route. I just want to know what’s really going on here!
Please let me know when you do start it! It would be fun to read it more or less together.

Did you find out what was wrong with your Textractor? Or are you using some other app?

I actually did start reading it shortly after finishing Sara’s route. Looking at the guide, it doesn’t seem like there are any recommended save points but I’ll make a post on my thoughts as I get farther. Rinne was my favorite out of the 3 back in the prologue so I think I will like this one the most
