Is there a way to reset reviews?

I took a little break and came back to 122…

I’m not too sure what you mean by resetting reviews, but if you go into your account settings, there is an option to put your account on “Vacation Mode” if you know you will be gone for a while. You won’t get any new reviews until you turn vacation mode off again.

In addition to the other replier, you can go to Settings > Danger Zone and reset your level if you wish, should you find yourself not remembering anything
Personally, I don’t think this is the best idea, though. I’d just go through everything, see what you remember, and redo lessons for whatever you’ve forgotten…

The SRS system is fixed, and if you’re using WaniKani to take advantage of this system it’s probably bad to try and mess with the timing of reviews. Rather than resetting them, you could simply portion them out. You don’t have to do all 100+ at once. Learning Japanese isn’t a race. Also, don’t feel bad about high failure rates after you take a break. The whole point of the SRS system is that if you make mistakes it will prioritize those words so you get caught up on them.

Lastly, if you want to use WaniKani as a system you are going to reach a point where 100+ reviews is the daily norm unless you’re going very very slow. You may want to come up with study habits where you can lock in. The SRS system also depends on your timeliness to an extent.
