In the app, the radicals combination for ride are Grain + Mouth but I don’t see how that’s a mouth. Looks more like the radical for flower between the radical for two.
Does anyone have a better alternative for remembering this kanji?
I used to see a man riding an helicopter with his legs hanging out… 
To me it looks kinda like a tree 木
with a torii on top of it
and then a leafy/slidey thing on top of that
Mnemonic: something about riding a tree down a slide and through a torii maybe?
Like a Japanese log ride or something

I look at it as if it is the front of a train. So it is as if I am taking a “ride” on the train
