Incorrect meaning for 恐れる

Wanikani accepts “to break something” as a correct meaning for 恐れる, when it should be “to fear” or “to dread”

I bet it has “to dread something” in the background, which is only 2 letters off.

Or maybe they also accept “to fear something” as an answer, which is closer to your answer
