This is listed correctly as a transitive verb - but it is listed as “godan”. In Level 1, 上げる/下げる are also listed as transitive, but “Ichidan”.
Another one: 出る - listed as intransitive, but ichidan.
I don’t see the error? Like 正す is both transitive and godan, isn’t it?

Ok I was always under the impression that Ichidan == transitive and godan == intransitive. Thanks for the link.

While you’ll generally find that transitive/intransitive pairs have one member in each verb group, exactly which group each verb of each pair appears in is not at all consistent. So yeah, verb group is not an accurate indicator of transitivity. Or vice versa.
I mean, there are some reliable rules, to be fair - for example, all transitive/intransitive verb pairs for which one of the verbs end in ～す, that verb is always the transitive one.
