There’s this weird rhythm that gets started where this schedule ends a week just a few pages before the end of the chapter, but enough pages before that reading them would put us over the upper limit. Since the vote to speed up wasn’t unanimous I wanted to try to keep the ramp up pretty smooth. But then in week 17 I thought … okay, we had a slow week the week before, we can push through to finish this chapter!
Anyway, changes are always possible so feel free to comment!
I would happily revise my vote to keep things simpler! Don’t mind having some longer weeks and some shorter weeks - I’d prefer ending the week at a chapter ending.
The same goes for me as well!
@TakeFlite @carouseal Good to know! I’ll have another go at the schedule.

If folks don’t mind, from chapter 8 on I might wait until the week before to find the split point in the chapters. Or maybe switch to posting one thread per chapter and post new threads every two weeks, rather than finding an arbitrary stopping point mid-way?
Or by that point maybe we will want to speed up to a chapter a week for chapters under 30 pages. Who knows!

Nice to know that either way we will finish before next year. And we can mull it over for the next few weeks before deciding.
Unacceptable. I would like to see 45 iterations of potential schedule immediately with detailed breakdowns of suggested break points and pros/cons.

Thank you Mara!
Bad surprise on kindle:
When I tried to find the new weekly stops on my kindle I saw that chapters 7, 8, 11 and 12 are graphical pages which may look rather nice but are impossible to read on the small kindle screen (at least for me on my kindle Oasis). This explained why chapter 7 had only 16 kindle locations while all the preceding chapters had around 400 locations.
How are these pages in the physical book? In this case the pages on kindle should correspond to the pages in the book. Are they readable without a magnifying glass?
The text is the same size as the other pages but the pages are gray instead of white
Same for me! Although I have the Kobo digital version rather than the Kindle. Readable on my iPad but is sure going to make lookups a lot harder for those chapters…
Yes, there is the Japanese web reader for kindle Amazon Kindle: Your free personal library you can take anywhere with which I can read on the PC screen.
However usually I use my kindle while riding the bus or subway.
