I been using an anime for learning japanese (Slayers Try episode 26 in case anyone wondering) and I found a kanji i quite cant get the meaning of. The whole phrase is
闇の王が生み出せし星を紡ぐ５つの光よ
その力もて黄昏よりもなお昏きもの
あかつきよりなお眩きもの
遵びかれし、力を速ね
我にただ天空を貫く
一条矢の与えて
Took a long time to look for some kanji I didnt know how to write but my main problem is with
遵びかれし, I get the kanji mean to obey or abide (I guess 遵う (し た が う)) but the びかれし, WHAT IS THAT?
are you sure its not 導かれし
This site agrees about it being 導かれし, and also thinks the last line should be 一条の矢を与えん.
General remark/advice (which the OP might or might not need): because this is a magic spell, it’s using some oddball grammar intended to feel “old”. This makes it not worth spending much/any time on for language learning purposes, in the same way that somebody learning English as a second language should not bother spending time on the grammar of the thees and thous that might pop up in a similar fantasy context in English. Move on… (unless this is like the only thing you didn’t understand in 26 episodes, in which case go ahead and knock yourself out ;-))
I was gonna say, I just looked back and read what came after and 力を速ね makes no sense, so likely some mistakes were made lol. It should be 力を束ね

I actually don’t necessarily agree with this. This kinda writing feels very standard for chuuni VNs. So if you want to play those things, (or watch this kind of anime), I think its worth learning honestly.

Well, I don’t necessarily mean skip it entirely. I mean more “if I don’t exactly understand everything here but I’ve kinda got ‘king of darkness five lights power blah blah this is a spell’, then I don’t care beyond that and don’t want to spend time on it”. (Assuming the context isn’t some clear “it’s the beginning of the book and this is a legendary plot-important prophecy”…) Like you say, this stuff does come up, and I’m happy to let the gradual pileup of experience deal with it, rather than trying to carefully analyse any particular instance.
I have a similar attitude to kansai-ben 
Yeah, I think thats a good approach for most people. But its not hard to find a chuunige where theres an important character who does nothing but talk like this. So for people who are interested in reading that kinda stuff, it might as well be fundamental grammar just like the rest. Not sure if that applies to OP necessarily, though.
I started to learn japanese just for these type of situations and phrases. It may not be useful but I like it and it keeps me motivated
