Thanks Jenny! Could you please add some new items to wanikani I only have 20 reviews max a day and I’m starting to get bored.

I’m loving these new jin vs. nin distinctions. It’s a common mistake I make and I’m excited to go through the updated reading explanations. Thank you!

Maybe start a 10k vocab deck? Or better yet, read or enjoy other media and make your own cards from them?
Even Kouichi tells you to go out into the world in one of his last mails, I believe

Is there a good place to suggest additions to the block list? WaniKani just accepted “sunlight” as the kanji meaning for 晩 but that is definitely the wrong meaning.

Thanks WK team! :+1:

There’s more of these to come! We’re currently looking at making a bunch of changes like this to various items at levels 1-10 that contain kanji with more than one reading, so for a while you should see updates like this each week.

This most likely happened because “sunlight” was still close enough to the accepted meaning “night” for our typo leniency system. I’ve added both “light” and “sunlight” to the block list for the kanji and vocab. A better way to let us know about these things would be through our contact page, i.e. just shooting our support team a message/email, who will then let us know about it so we can have a look! But thanks for pointing this out.

People tend to use the worst typos thread for that a lot too and at-mention the mods group, and it seems like the mods are pretty cool with it…

Yeah I think as long as it reaches a member of the support staff it’s usually fine, since then they can either make the change themselves or create a GitHub ticket for us to look at!

NO.

It’s about time to leave the nest and focus more on grammar, reading, listening, speaking, etc.

Fly little bird, now, go on, say bye bye, fly towards fluency and never look back.

Even The Crabigator wants, NEEDS you to do so, you should help Kis Kingliness, good luck!

Go now, go!
