Small heads up that my table and the accompanying Google sheet have been updated with some missing page counts. All I’m missing at this point are three Chara Collection Extra books and the 夏の夜の夢 sheet (+ technically one 小説Chara issue, but I have scans of that particular issue) (+ some future unreleased stuff, but I’m not worried about that), so the Google sheet should be almost completely filled out and accurate for page count purposes. Anything I don’t own and can’t verify has been marked in red on the sheet.

F&B’s publisher Chara is putting on a cafe event from Nov 18 to Dec 6. Look at all these awesome goods. 
Who wants to immediately hop on a plane with me so we can stake out the cafe until we own all possible F&B merchandise? (That 百花 book has a new F&B story in it, too! At least, I assume it’s F&B, given I haven’t seen the author working on any other series lately.)

Ooh new merch! The drink looks so pretty too! Man if it were just a few weeks later I might have been able to go. Looks like the merch will be available for purchase online after the cafe ends though I’m definitely gonna need to keep an eye on that

Yeah, I don’t feel like I have to rush things. When I feel like reading and can enjoy it, I will. knowing there are comments to read urges me on, as well as knowing that you will read my comments once I get there.

Oh yeah I totally forgot about that one! Yes, I think that would be great to have it in between.
We still had the discussion going regarding threads for the bonus material, right? I guess one thread per type of material would be fine, and for the long stories I think having separate threads for those that are … checks list … 47 pages or above, that would be good, I guess. (There is a nice gap between stories of length up to 37 pages, and then 47 pages and longer, that’s why.) That would be 14 of those longer stories as of now.
On the other hand, now that I think about it a bit more, we could also have one thread per volume that discusses the bonus material for that volume? I.e. not sorted by type of bonus material but by time of release. That would make it much easier regarding spoilers and stuff for the main volumes, as they are all based off of the same main volume.
What do you think?

Hmm. Either would work. Threads for bonus volume stories would cover a lot of pages for volumes 9 and 11 (as in about another full novel’s of pages), but the others even out more or less. (Not counting the stuff released post volume 24, of course.)
I think the number of threads evens out as well the two options. 17 (volume) vs 21 (type+dedicated) if I counted right?
How do we want to split the 外伝 story threads?
- One thread per 外伝 type
- One thread per main story volume
- Other

On the other hand, we have a lot of stories that are shorter than 47 pages, so we would probably get a very high page count for that one as well, that’s what got me thinking. Also, if you want to make a zipfile with the materials (or a few files), maybe it’s more convenient to just group everything together that can be read together? Because otherwise you would group a bunch of stories together but we would only be able to read one, say. That would feel a bit more odd to me, I guess…
But in the end of the day it’s not a big deal either way. We could even start out with just one thread for the one story we have now, and then later rename it if we decide to go with another grouping method - no harm done

Oh, now that’s a good idea. I’ll make it a goal to get the first bonus story ready this coming week as well, then; it’ll be all by it’s lonesome, so it’ll help me stay to figure out a system, at least.
That sounds good to me.
I was thinking about your suggestion of dividing 外伝 by volume, and it’d also be more convenient for newcomers. Much easier to understand why and when we’re reading certain bonus stories.

Alrighty; posting here since my update would touch a couple of different F&B threads.
So I haven’t started on volume 7 yet; I intended to this past Monday, but things have been crazy both work-wise and non-work-wise. Looking at what’s going on for me in the rest of December, both JP and non-JP, I’m going to formally announce that I will start F&B 7 in the new year. That is, if I haven’t started it by that point already. I’m just thinking that it’s going to take me a couple of weeks to sort everything else out; I will officially be on winter break starting the 8th, going through the rest of the month, so I should be able to reclaim 8 whole hours of my day at minimum. (Won’t that be nice…)
I’ll probably start 7 around that time-ish, but given how volatile the holidays are I’m just going to set a firm date of January 1 at the latest.
For the volume 6 bonus story: I’m so sorry I haven’t posted it yet; just another casualty of my crazy days, sadly. orz. I will aim to post it this weekend, and if anything needs to be fixed with it we’ll go from there.
(On a slightly different note, I found out that there may be a few more F&B stories in 小説chara issues I’d overlooked. I was going to buy both I found to check them out, but one sold before I could grab it, and now I’m sad. 
小説chara issues appear on secondhand sites so irregularly…)
In other news, I am working on a secret F&B project~ My goal is to have something to show off by, again, January 1!
Maybe we can regroup in the new year, double-check who’s still hanging around and is chugging along with the rest of us reading F&B? And the F&B drama club starts early January too…I’m very excited. What are the rest of everyone’s F&B plans for December? @ekg, @NicoleRauch, @pyororon, and @sycamore?

I’m in kind of a similar situation time wise in December, I have finals until the 16th but then I’ll be on break and I should be able to finish up volume 6/start volume 7 around then. I’m hoping I can squeeze in a little time for finishing volume 6 before then but that’s looking tough at the moment.
