Donāt listen to him. Do them all. Now!
Itās so hard not toā¦ Even when I have sixty or more. I think Iām addictedā¦
I agree (with Leebo), 192 apprentice is no problem.
I canāt, I binge lessoned earlier and now I have none left.
Iām sure heās referring to his 403 ānext dayā reviews.
Doing all lessons at once isnāt the problem. Doing them while you still have a whole bunch of older apprentice items is. I generally donāt go over 120 apprentice items at any given time, so doing all lessons at once isnāt that big of an issue.
Even when I get there, Iāll probably still try to get it all done at onceā¦ Iām also doing Spanish, raising two kids, and working overtime. That sense of accomplishment.
Good luck!
maybe he was being sarcastic?
he says lessons but shows reviews ā¦ and not doing reviews can lead to problems like, more showing up faster than you are clearing them so you appear to be losing ground even as you make progress.
Note to self: Stay at current pace of 70-80 lessons at a time. Just because you can now level up every 3 days doesnāt mean you have to.
Maybe itās because Iām only at the beginning, butā¦ I get bored if I donāt do them all at once. I want to advance!! Is this like a noob mentality you all had once and regretted? :'D
Iāve seen many people advice ākeep your apprentice lowā.
It never really gets to be a problem until you get to the short lessons when you end up with a 600+ review pile staring you in the face every morning
A Game of Thrones fan would probably reply to this with āOh sweet summer childā¦ā
I never make my apprentice above 100. LOL that was my strategy back before I had my epiphany. Hereās what I used to do when I binge lessoned the items
1.) BS the whole thing cuz you donāt know jack
OR
2.) use rikai kun to cheat and then from there, you actually learn it
OR
3.) Procrastinate
Thatās why one year later Iām still at 13 (I also stopped for a few months)
Totally unrelated question
WHY DO PEOPLE RESET?
I remember being really bored and wanting to advance faster when I was your level. I remember being frustrated and doing nothing but staring at the screen for a ridiculous amount of time waiting for my 8 reviews to arrive.
do
kaniwani.com
or
instead
ā¦ or study some grammar or whatever.
Guess it depends on how good your retention is. I remember a few weeks back when I Guruād all my radicals for one level in one review session and had the smart (~sarcasm~) idea to binge-learn the gazillion kanji WK threw at me.
Result: took me forever to learn the readings of ē±³ (rice), ē©ŗ (sky), and 売 (sell). (i did it tho! c: )
400 reviews seems like it would take freakinā forever to do. Considering you have to type readings and meanings (or just meanings for radicals), plus the fact that somethingās re-added to the deck whenever you get it wrongā¦ rest in pieces, patience.
Oh! That memrise course looks super useful.
ā¦
-peeks guiltily over at kaniwani-
400 reviews spread out through a day isnāt that bad.
It takes about 15 minutes to do 100 reviews, and itās unlikely all 400 would hit you in one group.
