That’s how I took it as well. I think that ‘it seems like there is no mistake in my intuition’ would be the most literal interpretation.

I wondered what the clue was going to be! Of course - Edward was well trained not to go out in the rain unless he was wearing a coat. So either that was a lie, or he was actually wearing a coat!
